Yesterday i went and got my new rat, Beau from petco. While there i noticed 4 baby dumbo rats(mind you, petco only sells fancys as feeder, NEVER dumbos) so the next day i asked my manager at petsmart, if i could buy the rats and make it look like i "found" them in the parking ot. HE SAID YES. So i sent one of my associates over to get them. so ive saved 5 rats so far. So today i went back to the petco and wanted to inform them that i had taken the 4 rats as pets, not feeders. They were all happy because they wanted them to be pets too. While i was leaving i looked in the feeder tanks again. There was the cutest albino rat. I HAD TO GET HIM. s

Brutus went downhill two days ago. Just out of the blue. He stopped eating, got very lethargic. Started breathing very heavily and rapidly. Eventually stopped drinking. Finally took him to the emergency vet, and they told me he had pneumonia. The wanted to keep him over night and keep him on oxygen but it would cost 1000 dollars.....1000 dollars!? REALLY!? You would think since they're vets they would just give him oxygen to keep him alive, but no, they just sent him home with 3 different types of medicine. I checked on him all through the night. The last time i saw him alive was about 5:38 am. I woke up at 10 am and he was gone....I only got
